Before we start any work, our surveyor will perform a full risk assessment. This includes them to calculate the area and plot a suitable washing plan. They will identify any repairs and any tiles which need replacing. Before commencing the work our team then prepares the property for the roof cleaning by: Blocking all downpipes and gutter systems. Removing any garden furniture, potted plants and other fragile items. Laying tarpaulins around the property to ensure maximum cleanliness. The tiles are then thoroughly cleaned by our specialist high pressure water jetting system which removes all traces of moss, algae, lichen, pollutants and carbonation.
Once the roof has been thoroughly cleansed, we will then replace any broken or damaged tiles and re-point any cement area as necessary. This is all included in the price even if there are as many as 100+ tiles to replace. There is no need to worry about any hidden costs.
Afterwards, we will spray the roof with biocide using a low pressure lance which ensures the entire roof is fully treated. This kills all the moss and lichen spores within the roof tiles and prevents re-growth under the coating.
On the final phase of the process, we will apply 2 coats of our unique micro-porous UV stabilised coating. The coatings we choose to use are the only roof coating available containing Insodec Clean Nano Technology Cenospheres. We source these from one of the highest quality manufacturers in the world. The coatings are available in a wide range of colours, all of which can fully transform the appearance of your roof and the property as a whole. Our unique coating makes the roof completely waterproof and self-cleaning.
